We are thrilled to celebrate your accomplishments! Our team has been working diligently to ensure you have the Commencement experience you deserve. We are excited to host a Commencement Fair at the following locations, dates, and times:
MMC - FIU Barnes & Noble Bookstore
Date: March 10 - 12
Time: 12PM - 7PM
I-75 Campus - 3rd Floor Lobby
Date: March 15
Time: 9:30AM - 1PM
BBC - Wolfe University Center
Date: March 19
Time: 11AM - 6PM
Why Attend the Commencement Fair?
Attendance is highly encouraged as this event offers everything you need for Commencement in one place. You will have the opportunity to:
✔️ Obtain your Commencement Pass (required for your ceremony)
✔️ Purchase regalia, grad gear, and class rings
✔️ Take a complimentary graduation portrait with GradImages
✔️ Explore alumni opportunities and stay connected with FIU
Important: You must present your OneCard or a state-issued ID to pick up your Commencement Pass.
If you are unable to attend your designated Commencement Fair, you are welcome to attend any of the other sessions. However, you must attend at least one to obtain your pass.
What to Expect at the Commencement Fair
- Registrar – Pick up your Commencement Pass (Only available at the C-Fair; do not visit the Registrar’s Office for this pass)
- Barnes & Noble – Purchase regalia, grad gear, and FIU memorabilia
- Herff Jones – Purchase your Class Ring
- GradImages – Take a free professional graduation portrait
(Regalia purchase is required for your portrait session) - Alumni Relations – Learn how to stay involved as an FIU graduate
Can Someone Else Pick Up Your Items?
If you are unable to attend, a designated individual may pick up your Commencement Pass and cap & gown on your behalf. They must provide:
📌 A signed authorization letter from you, including your Panther ID Number
📌 A copy of your student ID (Panther Card or driver’s license)
📌 Their own photo ID (matching the name on the letter)
After the Commencement Fair
If you are unable to attend, you can still purchase your cap and gown at the MMC Barnes & Noble Bookstore during normal business hours.
