Each spring, summer and fall, thousands of family members and friends pack the FIU Arena to celebrate our graduates’ achievements. Here is some information to make sure everyone enjoys this special graduation day.

Grads

You got this. You've been preparing all semester and only a few things remain for your final day. Make sure you and your guests know where and when to go and what to do when you get there. Please be respectful to your fellow graduates, as well as to all commencement staff and security. Don't forget to take lots of pictures and have a great time!

Family and Friends

Whether you've traveled across town or across the country, we ask that during this hectic time you adhere to our campus rules and follow instructions as closely as you can. We understand many guests attend commencement in large groups so it's important to plan ahead for the enjoyment of yourselves and other graduates and their guests.
