Pass & Guest Tickets

Commencement Pass

The Commencement Pass is your entry ticket to the ceremony.

All students (except PhD, EdD, and DBA candidates) will receive their Commencement Pass at the Commencement Fairs.

📌 PhD, EdD, and DBA Candidates: The University Graduate School manages commencement details for these graduates and will communicate with them directly regarding their passes.

🔹 Important Reminders:

  • You must pick up your Commencement Pass during the designated C-Fair dates.
  • Passes cannot be emailed or sent electronically.
  • Ensure you have confirmed your attendance before attending the C-Fair.

Guest Tickets

Each graduate is eligible for:
🎟 2 complimentary guest tickets
🎟 Up to 3 additional tickets available for purchase at $15 each

Important Ticket Information:

  • Every guest, regardless of age (including babies and toddlers), must have a ticket.
  • Securing your 2 complimentary tickets does NOT automatically reserve the 3 additional tickets for purchase.
  • All ticket transactions are final and non-refundable.
  • Tickets are non-transferable and can only be accessed through your MyFIU portal (they are not distributed at Commencement Fairs).

How to Obtain Guest Tickets

✅ During the Registration Period:

  • If you haven’t claimed all 5 tickets, you may purchase additional tickets while registration is still open or until tickets last.
  • Tickets are not guaranteed if not claimed through myFIU portal.

✅ After the Registration Period Ends:

  • If any tickets remain, they will be available for purchase at the ceremony box office on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of your ceremony.
  • Tickets are $15 each and must be purchased with cash only.
  • Availability is not guaranteed—some ceremonies may sell out before the day of the event.

🎟 Downloading & Printing Tickets:
All tickets must be downloaded and printed through your FIU portal before the ceremony. Every guest must have a ticket for entry.
