Ariana Bueno

Ariana Bueno, a mechanical engineering and physics student, interned at Lockheed Martin, where she worked on systems engineering for the F35 stealth fighter. As an intern at Boeing, she worked on structural analysis projects for both space and commercial airplanes. During her third internship with Boeing in Seattle, she was part of the applied physics team. At FIU, Ariana worked as a learning assistant in the physics lab for six semesters. Among her many accomplishments, Ariana is an artist who served as president of the FIU chapter of the Society of Professional Hispanic Engineers and vice president of the Society for Women Engineers She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in applied physics and hopes to one day become an astronaut and a professor.
