 Grad Send-Off
We are pleased to announce that the Office of Alumni Relations and the FIU Bookstore will be hosting
Grad Send-Off.
At Grad Send-Off you will be provided with the following:
- Commencement Pass
- Commencement Guest Tickets
- Cap and Gown
- Grad Packs
Everyone in attendance will receive complimentary refreshments, FIU giveaways, and the opportunity to meet with various graduation vendors.
Doctoral students do not pick-up tickets at Grad Send-Off. Please see Karla Ortega in the University Graduate school office.

University Park Bookstore (located inside the Graham Center)
March 10, 11 & 12, 2008 from 10:00a.m. - 7:00p.m.
Biscayne Bay Bookstore (located inside Wolfe University Center)
March 24 & 25, 2008 from 10:00a.m. - 6:00p.m.
Pines Center
March 26, 2008 from 4:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. & March 29, 2008 from 10:00a.m. - 1:00p.m.
Guest Tickets
Tickets are free and required for admission to the Arena. Fire Marshall regulations require every guest, including children of any age, to have tickets. No one will be admitted into the Arena without a ticket. There are no reserved seats for any of the ceremonies. You must present a photo ID in order to receive your Commencement pass and guest tickets at Grad Send-Off. If someone else is picking up your pass and tickets, please have them bring their own ID along with a letter of authorization and a copy of your ID. It is mandatory that you bring your commencement pass to the ceremony.
If you are unable to attend Grad Send-Off, your commencement pass and tickets will be available beginning Monday, March 31 through Tuesday, April 1, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the campus you selected on the Commencement Confirmation Form beginning at 10:00a.m. If extra tickets are available, they will be distributed at the University Park Bookstore on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 10:00a.m. Candidates wishing for extra tickets are encouraged to ask friends who may not be using their tickets.
